:: 10th week ::

- Repair of electrical equipment and facilities damaged.
- Change light coin, either the bulb, starter or choke problem
- Change the fan from the old coins that are rusty and not work as well as problematic (difficult to operate its motor) to the new
- Perform a PPM for printers and computers. Ensure that the device can function properly. Make sure the connection is properly and safely. Clean the equipment from dirt, dust and scratches.
- After doing some inspection and meeting with the contractor from new A&E project,the trip from x-ray unit had been traced. It is cause by life and neutral wire were taken from different DB. Which is life is taken from normal supply,but the neutral is from essential suuply.
- Find the cause of damage to the circuit that causes the MCB trips (DCC cafeteria). Life and earth were short and creates explosion.
- Perform on load test for DCC genset.
- Have a visit to transformer rooms 1,2, and 3 at DCC. Vector group : DYN 11. step down : 11kV – 433 V. Cooling system : ONAN.
- Repair the damage CPU. The VGA card had been corrupted.
- Have a visit to HV room to check vacuum circuit breaker (VCB) and batery for substation.
- Joined mechanical student repair tires for bed,wheel chair and hidraulic chair. And respond to broken excercise bicycle.
- Joined mechanical student repair bed fence.
- Repair conveyer belt for pharmacy DCC. Plug no supply. Wound wire caused the trip.
- Find the cause of damage to the circuit that causes the MCB trips (record office). All computers no supply. Problem caused by damage computer UPS.
- Find the cause of damage to the circuit that causes the MCB trips (IVF room and X- ray). MCB overload.

:: 9th week ::

- Repair of electrical equipment and facilities damaged.
- Change light coin, either the bulb, starter or choke problem
- Repair water sprinkler timer. Mistakes in connecting between contactor and normally open.
- Repair the leaking and not functioning water heater. Changing the rubber around its nut coil.
- Perform a PPM for printers. Ensure that the device can function properly. Make sure the connection is properly and safely. Clean the equipment from dirt, dust and scratches.
- Repair stuck fax machine. Can not accommodate too many piece of paper.
- Change the damage power supply’s fan.
- Attending testing and commissioning (T&C) meeting for new surgical light.
- Have a visit to new A&E project to take a look on the new DB for normal supply.
- Find the cause of damage to the circuit that causes the MCB trips (x ray unit). X-ray unit gets the normal supply from new DB at A&E project. Suspected that it has problem with the new wiring.

:: 8th week ::

- Repair of electrical equipment and facilities damaged.
- Change light coin, either the bulb, starter or choke problem
- Change the fan from the old coins that are rusty and not work as well as problematic (difficult to operate its motor) to the new
- Telephone exchange (intercom network) the failure of the new and exchange their location
- Repair the socket outlet. generally, diversion cannot be used again, and sometimes melted socket, because the overload, or damaged equipment
- Find the cause of damage to the circuit that causes the MCB trips (DCC).
- Repair the electric kettle. Normally the problem is that it leaks, less heat and fails to operate. By changing the new element, it is returned as new.
- Photocopy machine repair resulting paper jam, paper became black and not functioning properly. (roller jam, claw lost, and the spring missing)
- Repair the unstructured x-ray viewer roller. Made the films always stuck in the x-ray viewer.
- Follow the chargeman doing service on genset. (off load test).
- Went to HV room to see the second incoming is being installed by TNB.
- Went to LV room to check the condition of the transformers.
- Went to A&E to see how the removing process from the old DB to the new DB had been done.
- Had a visit to chiller room and see how the process is running.

:: 7th week ::

- Repair of electrical equipment and facilities damaged.
- Change light coin, either the bulb, starter or choke problem
- Change the fan from the old coins that are rusty and not work as well as problematic (difficult to operate its motor) to the new
- Telephone exchange (intercom network) the failure of the new and exchange their location
- Perform PPM for slide projector and printer.
- Repair not functioning computer monitor. Screen came out with red light. Caused by broken monitor cable.
- Repair the broken computer. Normally it caused by broken DC power supply, RAM or corrupted hard disc. By replacing part and formatting it into new window, it can be use back.
- Change new power supply to CPU since it can not to turn on.
- Went to boiler room.
- Repair bottle warmer. Problem with the fuse and its selector switch.

:: 6th week ::

- Repair of electrical equipment and facilities damaged.
- Change light coin, either the bulb, starter or choke problem
- Change the fan from the old coins that are rusty and not work as well as problematic (difficult to operate its motor) to the new
- Trace the problem of PA system. Microphone not functioning well.
- Repair the broken computer. Normally it caused by broken DC power supply, RAM or corrupted hard disc. By replacing part and formatting it into new window, it can be use back.
- Repair slow moving fan by changing the capacitor from 2.25u F to 3.5u F.
- Doing PPM onto oven, digital camera and printer. Ensure that the device can function properly. Make sure the connection is properly and safely. Clean the equipment from dirt, dust and scratches.
- Repair not functioning computer monitor. Screen came out with red light. Caused by broken monitor cable.
- Put the asset label on new uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
- Change the not functioning mouse and keyboard to new one.

:: 5th week ::

- Repair of electrical equipment and facilities damaged.
- Change light coin, either the bulb, starter or choke problem

- Perform PPM on nurse call. Need to undergoing BER (beyond efficient repair) process since patient always misused this gadget.

- Learn about building automation system (BAS) in DCC.
- Formatting computer.
- Change the wall fan was rusty and failed entirely to the new.
- Remove the x-ray viewer to the more strategic place.
- Follow the chargeman doing service on genset. (on load test).
- Repair telephone line. Connector problem.
- Went to transformer room. Learnt about transformer cooling systems.
- Follow the chargeman doing service on genset. (off load test).

:: 4th week ::

- Repair of electrical equipment and facilities damaged.
- Change light coin, either the bulb, starter or choke problem
- Repair the automatic scrub sink at operation theatre (OT). Problem cause from the sensor.
- Repair the electric kettle. Normally the problem is that it leaks, less heat and fails to operate. By change the new element, it is returned as new
- Repair the loosen switch at Burn unit.
- Change the not ringing telephone to the new one.

:: 3rd week ::

- Repair of electrical equipment and facilities damaged.
- Change light coin, either the bulb, starter or choke problem
- Change the wall fan was rusty and failed entirely to the new.
- Follow contractor Leong from Blue Chip Engineering SDN BHD doing preventive maintenance for main sub-board (MSB) and distribution board (DB) at new intensive care unit (ICU). Record the reading for voltage and currentload.
- Change the damage bell switch.
- Change the fan from the old coins that are rusty and not work as well as problematic (difficult to operate its motor) to the new
- Find the cause of damage to the circuit that causes the MCB trips (doctor hostels). One of the two gang two way switch for the corridor lamp is burn out.
- Change the triplex bulb
- Change the damage telephone to the new one at security unit.
- Change the burnt emergency lamp at x-ray unit.

:: 2nd week ::

- Change the damage element for water heater
- Change light coin, either the bulb, starter or choke problem.
- Doing PPM on printer
- Find the cause of damage to the circuit that causes the MCB trips (wards)
- Repair wall plug. Neutral wire not connected. This cause trip always happened at the MCB.
- Attending testing and commissioning (T&C) meeting on expansion of ICU project.
- Went to security room to learn how CCTV working.
- Repair the phone line for development department. Not functioning distribution point (DP).
- Change the broken and damage angle poise lamp.
- Repair the timer for corridor lamp.
- Change the broken switch.
- Repair slow moving fan by changing the capacitor from 2.25u F to 3.5u F.
- Went to accident and emergency (A&E) unit renovating site. Need to remove the old DB and AHU room to the new one.
- Change the triplex bulb. Most sensitive bulb, which can not being touched by bare hand.
- Follow the chargeman doing service on genset. (off load test).

• Report at the Radicare’s office on April 13 at 8:00 am. Mrs. Masreza briefed on Radicare and FEMS which covers the unit of electrical, civil and mechanical.
• Brought to know the units under maintenance Radicare, the linen, cleansing, clean waste, counter complaint, charge man room, electrical workshop, civil, mechanical and biomedical and much more.
• Each student is given punch card
• Change light coin, either the bulb, starter or choke (ballast) problem.
• Doing planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on emergency lamp at daily care center (DCC). Change the problematic emergency lamp. Learn how it operates when the power supply goes fail.
• Change the damages plug top.
